Air Hammers & Chisels

Imagine being able to hit your hand chisel 5,000 to 8,500 times a minute - and still have design control. We chose Cuturi air hammers to accomplish this very feat. Since they have a short piston stroke, they minimize vibration and therefore provide more control - and reduced stress on your hands. Since they come in many sizes, they can be used for large removal as well as fine detail. They are excellent for the softness of alabaster to the pulverizing requirements of granite. Since Cuturi air hammers are made for industrial applications, they last!

NOTE: The “D” air hammer uses special chisels. The “E” uses ¼” shank chisels.

The other air hammers use standard ½” (12.5 mm) shank chisels.

Cuturi Chisels

Cuturi chisels come in two sizes: 1/2" shanks for the larger "A" to "Z" hammers and 1/4" for the smaller "E" hammer. All Cuturi chisels have carbide tip inserts which mean they have maximum durability. (see helpful hints for sharpening instructions) Here are the most common sizes for Cuturi and other air hammers.
